Mastering JQuery (TT4665)
Mastering JQuery (TT4665) Course Details:
In this course, you will explore how to use the freely-available jQuery library to simplify client-side scripting tasks. You will learn how to write jQuery selectors to round up sets of Document Object Model (DOM) elements and how to use jQuery's many wrapped set methods to manipulate DOM elements. You will use the jQuery event model to set up event listeners and callback functions, manage Ajax requests with jQuery, and extend jQuery with utility functions and wrapped set method plug-ins.
You will focus on using the freely available jQuery user interface (UI) library to develop compelling user interfaces for web sites and applications. You will learn how to use jQuery UI's extended set of animation effects, how to create and configure instances of jQuery UI interaction helpers, how to implement jQuery UI interface components (Datepickers and Accordions), and how to develop plug-ins that extend jQuery UI's capabilities.
