SAN Management Course Details:

This course covers SAN management activities centered on Connectrix B-Series and MDS-Series Switches. The Connectrix family of switches are managed to provide connectivity between various hosts and EMC storage arrays. SAN switches are administered through their CLI and GUI management tools for configuration in single and multi-switch fabrics. The course focuses on Fibre Channel technology and SAN virtualization concepts but also covers basic FCIP, iSCSI, and FCoE environments. NPIV, Access Gateway, and NPV configurations are covered. EMC SAN best practices are presented throughout the course and performance monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and security are also addressed.
